Dashboard Overview
Dashboard Toolbar
Total Overview
The Total Overview summary is located on the left portion of the Dashboard Toolbar and displays key performance indicators of your CORe project.
The data will update based on the selection of Usage and Generation or Emissions and Reductions and the Date Range or Date Period selected.
· Note: Date Range will supersede the Date Period
1. When Usage and Generation is selected, the Total Overview displays:
- Total Usage MWh
- Total Charges ($)
- Total Generation (MWh)
2. When Emissions and Reductions is selected, the Total Overview displays:
- Total Emissions mtCO2e
- Total Charges ($)
- Total Reductions(mtCO2e)
Dropdowns, Date Range, and Downloads
-
Period Dropdown
- When an option is selected from the dropdown menu, the charts and tables on the dashboard will group data according to the selected period
- Example: If Monthly is selected, the data and charts will be grouped by month
- Example: If Monthly is selected, the data and charts will be grouped by month
- When an option is selected from the dropdown menu, the charts and tables on the dashboard will group data according to the selected period
-
Year Dropdown
-
When a year is selected from the dropdown menu, the charts and tables will only show data for that specific year. Additionally, the Total Overview section will dynamically be updated to only include the selected year’s data
-
-
Date Range Picker
- When selecting a particular range from the date range picker, only the data from that range will appear on the dashboard. The date range picker displays the data on monthly basis and not on specific date basis.

Dashboard Panels
The Dashboard consists of 5 panels. Each panel provides key performance information related to your CORe project.
Panel 1: Total Usage and Emissions
Panel 1 of the CORe dashboard displays two different charts, depending on if Usage and Generation is selected or Emissions and Reductions.
- When Usage and Generation is selected, Panel 1 displays a mixed chart (combination of line and bar charts) that displays the Total Usage. The Total Usage will be adjusted based on the Date Range or Date Period selected in Dashboard Toolbar.
- Line Chart: Represents the Total Usage comprised of energy from the power grid (Grid Energy).
-
Bar Chart: Represents the Total Usage comprised of renewable energy from your CORe project or projects’.
- Yellow bars – represents the project’s renewable energy source is Solar
-
Blue bars – represents the project’s renewable energy source is Wind
- When Emissions and Reductions is selected, Panel 1 displays a waterfall chart showing the overall emission reductions for the Date Rane or Date Period selected.
- Gray Bar: Represents the total emissions, without utilizing CORe
-
Green Bar: Represents the total emissions reduced, with utilizing CORe
Panel 2: Project Location Map
Panel 2 of the CORe dashboard displays two different sets of data, depending on if Emission Factors or Project Locations is selected.
- When Emissions Factors is selected, Panel 2 displays the available emission factors for each state Constellation can provide energy to.
- The map is a heat map and the darker shaded states represent states with higher emissions factors
- By hovering over the color shaded states, you can see Constellation’s market-based emission factor for the year selected on the Dashboard Toolbar
- When Project Locations is selected, Panel 2 displays the project location(s) on a map.
- Each project (except Grid Energy) is represented with an icon
- Solar Panel = Solar Energy Project
- Wind Turbine = Wind Energy Project
- Clicking on an icon reveals the project’s name
- Each project (except Grid Energy) is represented with an icon
Panel 3: Usage and Generation Chart
Panel 3 displays the total Usage (green color) and Generation (blue color) over the period and interval defined within the Dashboard Toolbar.
- The Usage and Generation data can be visualized in multiple ways. To change the visual chart, you can change the chart type via the chart dropdown
- There are two chart options:
